AERO STANDARDS
ASW is now using AERO standards to help guide it’s teaching and learning. AERO is a framework for curriculum consistency for grades k-12. It’s aligned with the American Common Core and there are sets of standards for all subjects. The program was introduced by the U.S state department's office of overseas schools and the overseas schools advisory council. The goal of AERO is to provide an American Curriculum that fits in with the learning environment of international schools.
Under the guidance of our new subject leaders all teachers will be provided with support and training to implement the standards effectively and consistently.
ASW’s goal is to provide students with the critical thinking and problem-solving skills they need to be global citizens.
